Arizona Cardinals look to Synergy

Running back Edgerrin James wasn’t the only important acquisition made by the Arizona Cardinals this off-season: the company has selected Ross Video’s Synergy 2 multi-definition production switcher to serve as the backbone for its new stadium video control room.

Systems integrator Pro Sound & Video is installing the system. “The new facility will be state-of-the art and the core of the technology in the control room is HD,” says Rod Sintow, CEO, Pro Sound & Video.

The new stadium is being constructed in Glendale, AZ and the room is expected to be operational by August 2006. The control room will also incorporate RossGear terminal equipment and Ross Compact NK Router.

The Synergy MD/X series are fully equipped multi-definition production switchers supporting a wide variety of SD and HD video formats. Synergy MD/X is based on the latest technology in both hardware and software offering a readiness for the future. Synergy MD/X does not require costly upgrades when moving from SD to HD.
