OLN Ads Boxing to Summer Line-Up

The Outdoor Life Network, which has been adding sports to its television line-up at a break-neck pace, has made professional boxing the newest addition to its programming roster. Beginning July 27, the network will partner with Top Rank to broadcast Fight Night every Thursday night at 9. Each month, OLN will show one live fight and three classic fights from the Top Rank library.

Partnering with Top Rank allows OLN to get in the boxing game in a big way, said Marc Fein, senior Vice President of programming and production for OLN. They have reputation for organizing great fights and they consistently deliver a solid audience.

The new show will be hosted by Wally Matthews, a veteran boxing writer, and Bob Papa, who has called boxing for ESPN and NBC. Ring announcer for the live fights will be Michael Buffer, best known for coining the phrase, Let s get ready to rumble!

OLN will also produce versions of the live fights that will be available on-demand to all of their distribution partners. Fight footage will also be available on the OLN Website, www.olntv.com.
