Egyptian OB vehicles add Ross switchers

Egyptian Radio & Television Union (ERTU) has invested in four Ross Synergy 3 SD digital production switchers. The switchers are part of ERTU s OB fleet upgrade. A party of three senior engineering personnel from ERTU visited Ross Video HQ to carry out factory acceptance of the switchers. There are four trucks in Cairo, Egypt that will be refurbished with the Synergy switchers. The trucks are used for Sports programming as well as additional live programming throughout Egypt. We conducted a thorough evaluation of all switchers available in the marketplace and chose Ross, said the Chief Director of Studio Projects, ERTU. Our trucks cover many live sports productions and we wanted to ensure we had reliable equipment at an effective price point.
