NVISION Offers Award-Winning HD Compact Router Package

NVISION announced
an incentive for all broadcast and video-production facilities to easily
integrate HD routing capability. At $5550, this Compact Router package
includes a 16×16 1RU (1.38″deep) HD Compact Router (CR1616-HD), a control
panel (CP1616), and a remote panel expansion kit (RP16). This super-wide-band
(SWB) HD Compact Router also routes AES and SD-SDI signals, which enables
smaller facilities to economically migrate from analog to digital, and
integrate HD at the same time.

The versatility of this package makes it ideal
for mobile applications, local stations, faith-based and sports broadcasting,
public TV, distance learning, boutique post houses, or a digital island within
a facility. Available now, this offer ends October 31, 2007.

“With
this HD router package, all broadcasters now have an affordable stepping stone
for offering HD programming to their audiences. And they get an added bonus if
they’re making the analog to digital transition at the same time,” says
Tim Walker, Product Manager for Compact Routers at NVISION. “This means
that no matter the size of any facility, this is the opportunity to move to the
forefront of the highly competitive broadcast and video-production
markets.”

Solid,
Versatile Performance

The
Award-Winning Compact Router Series (NAB 07 Broadcast Engineering Pick Hit) is
based on NVISION’s best-in-class large router technology, with the same
error-free switching, high performance, and system scaleability.

The
Compact Router product line is a future-proofed investment. Designed as a
series of compact building blocks, facilities can add or reconfigure system
implementations in their facility as their needs change or grow. For example,
you can easily expand this HD router package with more levels of routing, or
create a small network, by adding other Compact Router building blocks such as
a Dynamic Port Router with bi-directional data routing; a 3Gig router; or a
32×32 router of any format; and control panels, and more.

The
Compact Router Series operate in simple networks, with up to four routers and
16 remote control panels configured as a router/panel network. For larger
systems, Compact Routers can be easily integrated with entire NVISION product
line of large routers and control systems.

For the
end user, the Compact Router Series provides affordable high performance;
savings on power, rack space, and cabling; which all results in ease of use,
set up, and operation.

Mukul
Krishna, Principal Analyst at Frost & Sullivan, stated, “NVISION is
offering strong price/performance value for budget-and-size conscious router
markets. NVISION is synonymous with high-performance routing, and now with
pricing for restricted budgets their proven technology is extended to a broader
market of users who can benefit from error-free signal
transmission.”
