Northwest Named Charter Airline for Green Bay Packers

Northwest
Airlines will serve as the charter airline for the Green Bay Packers football
team for the coming season as it has for several decades.

Northwest
will utilize Boeing 757 and 747 aircraft, as well as Airbus A330s to support
the Packers’ 10 road trips during the 2007 season.

“The
Packers are an important, longtime customer of Northwest Airlines,” said Bill
Wernecke, director – charter department. “We have worked with the Packers
dating back to the 1960s, and we appreciate the opportunity to serve them again
this year.”

One of the
preferred charter carriers in the college and professional sports world,
Northwest will serve as charter airline for a number of athletic teams in 2007,
including 10 NCAA Division I college football teams and eight National Football
League (NFL) teams.

Northwest
and its Northwest Airlink partners serve more cities in
Wisconsin
– eight – than any other airline:
Appleton,
Eau Claire,
Green Bay,
LaCrosse,
Madison,
Milwaukee,
Rhinelander and

Wausau.
