Sports virtual environments, social networking highlight Sept. 12 NYC event

The September 12 meeting of the New York Media Information Exchange Group will dive into the topic of “Enhancing the Sports Fan Experience using Virtual Environments, Social Networking and User Generated Content” Presented by CollegeFanz.com, The Phoenix Group and SVG the event promises to be informative and also offer a unique networking opportunity.

Lou Borrelli, NEP Broadcasting CEO, will moderate a discussion of industry experts that includes: Glenn Adamo, NFL VP Media Operations; Alex Blum, KickApps, CEO; Tom Buffalano, CSTV Vice President & GM of Digital Media; Bill Rasmussen, Collegefanz.com and ESPN founder.

The event will be held at 4 West 43rd Street/Main Ballroom (just West of 5th Avenue) and begins with a networking continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. The discussion begins at 8:15 and will end by 9:30 to allow busy executives to get to the office!
