Orad, MBT make building graphics easy

Orad
Hi-Tec Systems Limited and Media Broadcast & Technologies (MBT) have
combined Orad’s HDVG HD/SD high-end graphics rendering platform and MBT’s

Liberty suite. The new
system will be unveiled at Orad’s IBC2007 stand.

The joint
development will enable broadcasters to build a comprehensive graphic workflow
for any production or transmission scheme, such as News, Sports, or talk shows,
produced from studios, OB VAN and Master Control Rooms.

This
graphic system is a fusion of MBT’s

Liberty
suite, which provides users with a versatile user interface based on back
office graphics asset management which can control any graphics engine, and
Orad’s HDVG which provides superior real-time control and 3D graphics.

For
news and sports applications,

Liberty
is interfaced from MOS 2.8 to potentially any NRCS. For Master Control Room
applications,

Liberty
is interfaced to most of today’s automation systems from a dedicated API to
VDCP. The best integration is achieved with MBT Phoenix Automation suite,
enabling “live auto promos” to become a reality.

In
addition, manual operation is always available for last minute changes or for
nominal workflows, with the standard versatile SG Panel. Many custom panels are
also available to best edit and control graphics such as SMS crawls,
information tickers, voting results, tables, etc.
