LiveHive Launches Next Version of Nanogaming for NFL Season

LiveHive
Systems, a company that is taking a pioneering role in interactive TV, is pleased
to announce the release of its next generation of NanoGaming for Football for
the coming 2007 NFL season. The new version offers an enhanced user experience
and provides additional prediction opportunities that make the game even more
exciting for football fans. Clients for this new version of NanoGaming include
ESPN and the NFL’s

San Francisco
49ers.

Technical advancements for NanoGaming, which will be incorporated for the 2007-2008
NFL season, include: Increased scalability, allowing for hundreds of thousands
of simultaneous players, Enhanced graphic and animation capabilities to boost
player enjoyment levels, New prediction opportunities, including head-to-head
predictions, such as “Which quarterback will throw for the most yards in
the first half?”, New community features, such as ‘Chat’ and
‘Invite-a-friend’ that increase the overall competitive and social aspects of
each game.

With NanoGaming, each football game is an interactive experience where viewers
can make hundreds of predictions from their computers, and answer trivia
questions about the players, the teams, and the game strategy. NanoGaming
offers pre-game, half-time, and real-time/in-game predictions. For example, in
the pre-game segment, viewers can predict which team will win the game, who
will score the first touchdown, or how many points will be scored in the half.
At half-time, players can predict who will score the next touchdown or who will
get the most rushing yards. During the game, players can predict whether or not
a team will score on a particular drive, if the kicker will make a field goal,
or if a coach’s challenge will be overturned. Each prediction involves points
based on actual probabilities, calculated in real-time, and rewards players for
selecting outcomes that have a lower chance of occurring.

As players compete with other viewers and earn points, they can climb a leader
board and win prizes.

“We want to create the ultimate live gaming experience for football fans
and are really excited about the launch of two high-profile NanoGaming Powered
football games,” said Dave Bullock, President and Co-Founder of LiveHive
Systems. “With millions of viewers tuning into football each week, it
won’t be long before viewers expect real-time interactive TV like the NanoGaming
experience, for all their favorite sports and TV shows. With the continued
evolution of NanoGaming technology, we are staying ahead of the curve and
continue to be an innovator at the forefront of interactive television.”

NanoGaming had its NASCAR debut in July when LiveHive signed Turner Sports New
Media for ‘Live Race Trivia presented by Shell’ launched on NASCAR.com.
Interactive TV was also introduced to reality TV with Big Brother ‘In The
House’ on the Global Television Network in

Canada.
