Outdoor NHL game at Bills’ stadium sells out in 40 mins

ORCHARD PARK ,N.Y. (AP) – It only took a couple of periods
for the outdoor NHL game scheduled for New Year’s Day at Ralph Wilson Stadium
to sell out.

A Buffalo Sabres official says all of the tickets that
went on sale at ten this morning have been sold. They were reportedly gone in
40 minutes — or two 20-minute periods in hockey. The tickets were sold on line
and at the box office at the 74,000-seat stadium in

Orchard
Park,
home to the NFL’s Buffalo Bills.

Sabres season ticketholders have until September 28th to order
their tickets.

Official prices from the Sabres or Ticketmaster ranged
from about $20 to $220.

The game will be the first outdoor contest staged by the
NHL in the

United States.
Four years ago, more than 50,000 fans braved the cold to watch
