JumpTV Re-Launches QuinnipiacBobcats.com

Quinnipiac

University
announced its partnership with
JumpTV Inc., a provider in broadcasting international television and sports via
the Internet, re-launched their official athletics web site, www.quinnipiacbobcats.com,
on Saturday, Sept. 22.

“We are
proud to engage this new partner in the re-design and re-launch of
QuinnipiacBobcats.com. JumpTV Sports specializes in cutting-edge offerings that
have integrated to produce a web site packed with exclusive content that should
hopefully keep fans coming back for more,” said Val Belmonte,

Quinnipiac
University
vice president of athletic marketing and external relations.

The
customized website incorporated a new design and navigation, as well as
state-of-the-art technology and features, allowing fans to more closely follow
each of the Bobcats’ 21 NCAA Division I teams.

Quinnipiac
Athletics now joins other top collegiate and professional sports clients who
have enlisted JumpTV Sports (formerly XOS Network) as their website provider.
In addition to the latest news, multimedia, scores, schedules, rosters,
statistics, news alerts and ticketing resources, visitors to the site will have
access to several new features to be introduced over the course of the 2007-08
season.

These will
include an enhanced online store, feature stories and student-athlete profiles,
online auctions, a photo store, live scoring, and live and on-demand streaming
of video and audio on a subscription basis (free of charge to those accessing
on campus).

“By
partnering with JumpTV Sports, Quinnipiac University Athletics is committing to
a unique broadband platform that offers more than fresh and exclusive content
for fans,” said Nada Usina, president, JumpTV Sports. “We’re proud to partner
with

Quinnipiac
University, which has experienced such
dramatic success and expansion at all levels, and are confident they will
witness noticeable benefits with their new official athletics site.”
