FOXSports.com unveils MLB postseason schedule on FOX

FOX Sports is proud to launch its unprecedented Championship Season with
exclusive live coverage of two of Major League Baseball’s premier postseason
events, the American League Championship Series and World Series. This year
marks the network’s 12th straight as a television home of postseason baseball,
while the 2007 Fall Classic is FOX’s tenth, and eighth consecutive.

In recent years, the American League Championship series has delivered some
of the most memorable moments in all of sports, including Yankee Aaron Boone’s
dramatic 11th inning series-winning home run in 2003, and the Red Sox’s chilled
revenge in 2004 as they stormed back from a 3-0 deficit to snatch the pennant
from

New York.
FOX Sports covered each compelling pitch of those epic match-ups and begins its
exclusive live coverage of the 2007 ALCS on Friday, October 12 with Game 1 (8
p.m. ET). Prime time ALCS coverage on FOX continues through its thrilling
conclusion with Game 7 on Sunday, October 21 (8 p.m. ET).

Once the smoke settles and the American and National League champions
emerge, the stage is set for the greatest professional sports series on the
planet. FOX Sports’ exclusive coverage of the 103rd World Series begins on
Wednesday, October 24 (8 p.m. ET) with Game 1 of the storied Fall Classic. Only
NBC has broadcast more World Series than FOX or more World Series consecutively.

A year ago, MLB postseason on FOX controlled prime time throughout October.
FOX’s 18 prime time postseason windows were a key contributor to FOX’s third
consecutive season title as

America’s
No. 1 prime time network. In Adults 18-49, television’s most coveted
demographic, FOX’s MLB postseason coverage boosted the network’s average by
+11%. The World Series is a prime time powerhouse. The average household rating
for the last three World Series is tied as the fifth highest-rated show in the
fourth quarter. The World Series is stronger right now than it’s ever been. In
this decade, World Series games have out-rated typical network prime time
programs by +77% which is a bigger advantage for the Fall Classic than in the
1990s (+69%), 1980s (+58%), or 1970s (+52%).

The 2007 MLB postseason is the first within a seven-year rights agreement
between FOX Sports and Major League Baseball that was struck in July of 2006.
As part of this agreement, FOX Sports was granted the rights to present:

Up to 26 FOX Saturday Baseball Game of the Week regionalized single-header
broadcasts, an increase from 18 previously

Exclusive coverage of the American League Championship Series in 2007, 2009,
2011 and 2013

Exclusive coverage of the National League Championship Series in 2008, 2010
and 2012

Exclusive prime-time coverage of the World Series from 2007 through 2013
with Game 1 scheduled for the first Wednesday after completion of the LCS

Exclusive prime-time coverage of the All-Star Game from 2007 through 2013

This Week in Baseball, MLB’s award-winning, youth-oriented magazine show
which precedes the FOX Saturday Baseball Game of the Week.

Emmy Award-winners Joe Buck and Tim McCarver anchor FOX Sports’ MLB
postseason coverage, calling both the ALCS and World Series. The duo will be
joined by field reporters Ken Rosenthal and Chris Myers. Jeanne Zelasko and
Kevin Kennedy anchor all pre- and postgame coverage and will be joined by
studio analysts Joe Girardi, Mark Grace and Eric Karros. Additional
broadcasters may be added to FOX Sports’ postseason MLB coverage and will be
announced at a later date.

For the first time ever, FOXSports.com on MSN and MLB.com, the official
website of Major League Baseball, will also co-produce live pre- and post-game
shows for baseball fans online. Featuring FOX Sports’ Chris Myers, Harold
Reynolds of MLB.com and Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com, the 30-minute Webcasts
will be shot from inside each stadium before and after FOX Sports’ televised
pre- and post-game shows.

The Webcasts will include game highlights, player interviews and analysis,
and will be available by visiting either FOXSports.com on MSN or MLB.com. The
online shows will be produced for every ALCS and World Series broadcast on FOX,
and will be archived for on-demand viewing. Both entities broadcast similar
coverage for the 2007 All-Star Game in

San
Francisco.

Sports presents The Championship Season. America’s top-rated network for sports
raises its game to a higher level and takes the nation on an unprecedented
journey through the sports calendar’s biggest events, including: Major League Baseball’s
