named the official system provider for the 123rd AES Convention large AES 5.1
Conference Room. The room is located on the lower floor of the

will be used for AES sessions including a Surround Workshop, Surround Mixing
Do’s and Don’ts and Innovations in Sports Broadcasting.

Professional audio products provided by Yamaha Commercial Audio to be used for
the AES 5.1 seminars include a Yamaha LS9-32 digital sound reinforcement
console, T5n amplifiers, NEXO GEO S1210 and S1230 line arrays, GEO Subs and an
NX242ES Controller with EtherSound. The 5.1 conference room #1E08 will be
available exclusively to Yamaha Commercial Audio for product demos when AES
seminars are not in session on the following dates and times: Friday, October

Yamaha PM5DV2 Digital Sound Reinforcement Console:

PM5D
Version 2 software for PM5D and PM5D-RH digital sound reinforcement consoles is
available as a free download and adds over 30 new features, including Virtual
Soundcheck, which allows for an easy switch between live inputs and inputs from
a multi-track recorder; new Effect Library Programs: De-Essor, add-on VCM
(Virtual Circuitry Modeling) effects now built-in, such as analog modeled
compressors and EQ’s (Comp 276, Comp260, EQ601), and OpenDeck tape simulation.
Effects can be used as additional 31-band GEQs, and all GEQs can be switched to
PEQs. The Channel Move feature allows channels to be moved for layout
reorganization.

Yamaha MY16-MD64, MY16-ES64, MY16-EX:

The Yamaha
MY16-MD64 card adds 16 channels of MADI input and output connectivity to Yamaha
audio devices with mini-YGDAI slots; up to three MY16-EX expansion cards
increase capacity up to 64 channels. The MY16-ES64 card adds 16 channels of
bi-directional EtherSound connectivity; up to three MY16-EX cards increase
capacity up to 64 channels.

Yamaha TXn Series Amplifiers:

The Yamaha
TX4n at 2,200 watts, TX5n at 2,500 watts, and TX6n at 3,000 watts per channel
into 2 ohms offer legendary Yamaha on-board DSP power and incorporate a

This new
ACD1 device enables complete remote control and monitoring of power amplifiers

NEXO NXAmps:

Two new
high-powered amplifiers manufactured by NEXO and powered by Yamaha will make
their debut. The NEXO NXAmp 4×4 and 4×1 use legendary Yamaha EEEngine
technology offering the sonic purity of conventional class AB but with a heat
dissipation equaling class D technology. The UL-certified NXAmp models both feature
four amplifier channels that can be configured in 2 x 2 bridge mode providing
up to 4 x 4000W at 2 Ω per channel or 2 x 8000W at 4 Ω per channel on the NX
4×4 and 4 x 1300W per channel at 2 Ω or 2 x 2600W per channel at 4 Ω on the NX
4×1.
