Boost Mobile Pro of Surf to Air on FUEL TV

FUEL TV
will showcase mainland America’s most important surfing event with a telecast
of the sixth annual Boost Mobile Pro of Surf presented by Hurley – the sixth
leg of the 10-round Foster’s ASP World Tour. Debuting at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on
Oct. 29 (check local listings), FUEL TV’s one-hour broadcast of the Boost
Mobile Pro will highlight forty-eight of the world’s top professional surfers
as they compete in high-performance waves for $300,000 in prize money,
including Kelly Slater’s amazing 34th contest victory that not only put him
back in the running for his ninth World Championship Title but also set a new
World Record.

This year’s
Boost Mobile Pro show will also feature two youngsters, Dane Reynolds and Jordy
Smith, as they rise to stardom at this year’s event, in addition to the second
annual Hurley’s “Keys to the Continent” that pits surfers from

Australia,

Brazil,

South Africa, the

United States,

Hawaii and the Foster’s Rookies against each
other in a new contest format.

The show
will also give a behind-the-scenes look at the lifestyles of professional
surfing and highlights from one of the busiest weeks in the action sports
industry including the Surfer Poll Awards where Kelly Slater won his 13th award
and phenom Jordy Smith won the Breakthrough Surfer of the Year award presented
by Boost Mobile.
