Fox Soccer Channel celebrates 10-Year Anniversary

Fox Soccer
Channel announced the upcoming premiere of A Decade to Remember, a special
half-hour program commemorating the network’s 10th anniversary. Hosted by Fox
Soccer Channel commentator Max Bretos, A Decade to Remember will trace the
network’s history from its Fox Sports World origins in 1997 to its position today with more than 30 million subscribers nationwide.

Premiering
on Thursday, November 1 at 8 p.m. ET, this half-hour program will look back at
the unforgettable goals, saves, celebrations and heartaches broadcast by FSC to

U.S.
soccer fans over the past decade, as well as showcase the original programming
that has contributed to the network’s meteoric rise.

“It has
truly been a memorable first decade for Fox Soccer Channel, one we are excited
to reflect upon in this unique half-hour special program,” said David
Sternberg, executive vice president and general manager of Fox Soccer Channel. “A
Decade to Remember will allow our viewers to take a stroll down soccer’s memory
lane, while also providing a glimpse of the excitement that lies ahead for

America’s
premier soccer destination in the next 10 years and beyond.”

The show
will also feature interviews with some of the soccer world’s most prominent
figures, such as FA Premier League CEO Richard Scudamore and MLS Commissioner
Don Garber, as well as anniversary greetings from American soccer stars Landon
Donovan and Cobi Jones.
