Time Warner Cable Launches Two New Hockey Channels

Warner Cable, announced that it will launch the NHL Network on channel 171 and
Versus/ Golf HD in the free HD tier on channel 771 starting October 31. Both
channels provide expanded hockey coverage for fans and increase viewer options.

“Time Warner Cable cares about sports and listens to the requests of its
customers. We are constantly trying to enhance our channel offerings. Adding
the new NHL network to channel 171 will allow hockey fans a new venue to watch
and analyze hockey games. Further, Versus has become an integral part of Sabres
hockey and we are excited that we can dedicate channel 771 to Versus in
High-Definition,” stated Gordon Harp, Buffalo Division President, Time Warner
Cable.

The NHL network officially launched in the United States on October 1, 2007 and
is devoted exclusively to the sport of hockey with a roster that features live
games, highlight shows, player profiles, interviews, vintage hockey, international
and amateur hockey, as well as original and “All Access” programming to keep
hockey fans sated on a 24/7 basis.

A lowercase letter

A capital (uppercase) letter

A number
