ESPN360 to deliver 267 live events in November

ESPN360.com,
ESPN’s signature live sports broadband network, will feature its most robust
programming schedule ever in November – delivering at least 267 live sports
events to fans during the month.

The schedule will feature major U.S. sports competitions including the NBA,
college football and the start of the most comprehensive online college
basketball offering available – delivering more than 900 men’s and women’s
college basketball games this season. Additionally, ESPN360.com will
bring

U.S.
fans a full lineup of global sporting events including the UEFA Champions
League soccer, Venezuelan and Mexican baseball, URBA Rugby, Argentine Open Polo
Championships, Hurlingham Open Polo and exclusive coverage of the FIFA Beach
Soccer World Cup.

The record
November programming lineup comes as the recently re-launched service has seen
increased usage since unveiling its new look and programming strategy in
September. Since the September 4 relaunch, sports fans have logged
more than 150,000 hours viewing games on ESPN360.com.

In
September, ESPN unveiled a dynamic new ESPN360.com user interface, with
improved video quality, a mosaic of screens that lets users follow multiple
events simultaneously, and expanded controls including live-event pause, rewind
and fast forward). That, combined with a new strategy which transformed the
service into a 24/7 live sports destination online, dramatically increased its
live programming. In a 12-month period, ESPN360.com will deliver more than
2,500 live, global sports events (more than ESPN and ESPN2 combined).

The
service is available at no additional charge to fans who receive their
high-speed Internet connection from an affiliated service provider. It
has more than doubled its distribution since August 2006, and is available in
more than 17 million households nationwide via more than 25 Internet service
providers around the country including AT&T, Verizon, RCN, Frontier,
Cavalier, Charter, Mediacom, Conway, Grande Communications and more.
