2008 Arena Football League TV Schedule announced

The second
season of Russell Athletic ESPN Arena Football will kick off when the Eastern
Division champion Dallas Desperados face the Southern Division champion Georgia
Force Saturday, March 1, at 1 p.m. ET on ABC. Prime-time coverage will kick off
with the defending ArenaBowl champion San Jose SaberCats against the Central
Division champion Chicago Rush Monday, March 3, at 9 p.m. on ESPN2. ESPN’s 2008
Arena Football League coverage will include a total of 29 nationally-televised
games — 18 regular-season and 11 playoff games — culminating with ArenaBowl
XXII on Sunday, July 27, at 3 p.m. on ABC.

All Arena
Football League games on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC will be in high definition in
2008, and all games televised on the ESPN networks will also be available on
ESPN360.com, ESPN’s signature live sports broadband network. ESPN2 will have 10
weeks of consecutive Monday primetime games beginning Monday, April 14,
continuing to establish Monday night as a “football night” for fans.
