GLIAC Becomes First NCAA DII Conference to Partner With B2 Networks

B2
Networks and the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC)
announced a multi-year partnership to broadcast postseason Conference
Tournaments and Championship Events live via the world’s leading broadband
broadcaster. With this new alliance, the GLIAC becomes the first NCAA DII
Conference to partner with B2 Networks. The partnership will begin this week
for the GLIAC Volleyball Tournament where fans can watch the league’s best
teams compete for an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament and continue with
the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments during the 2007-08 academic year.
In the future. the league and B2 Networks will work to add other conference
tournaments, including men’s and women’s soccer, baseball and softball, to the
viewing lineup.

The foundation of the partnership is based on the nine members of the GLIAC
that have independently teamed with B2 Networks to broadcast more than 350
regular season events during the 2007-08 season; Ferris State, Northern
Michigan, Lake Superior State, Wayne State, Hillsdale, Findlay, Northwood,
Mercyhurst and Tiffin. The conference office’s decision to join with B2
Networks for their Championship Events is based on the success its member
institutions are having using B2 Networks to broadcast regular season games.

“We are very pleased to be teaming with B2 Networks to provide live
coverage of our Championship events,” stated GLIAC Commissioner Tom Brown.
“These advances in technology will allow our fans to follow our
championship events in a way they never could before. We are excited about this
opportunity and hope that we can eventually provide live coverage of all of our
championship events.”

“We are thrilled to have the GLIAC join B2 Networks as a conference
partner so that we may broadcast their outstanding postseason Conference
Tournaments and Championship Events,” stated Richard Brosal, B2 Networks
Executive Vice President for Business Operations and Marketing. “Fans of
the many sports that the GLIAC sponsors will be excited to know that they can
watch their teams live in action while competing for a berth in the NCAA
Tournament.”

All live regular and postseason GLIAC sporting events broadcast by B2 Networks
will be aired through the conference’s website http://www.gliac.org as well as
http://www.b2livetv.com. Fans around the world wanting to watch live events via
B2 Networks will need a high-speed Internet connection and a current version of
Microsoft Windows Media Player.

The 2007 GLIAC Volleyball Championship will begin with the Quarterfinals on
Wednesday, November 7 and continue with Semifinals and Finals on November 9-10.
Only the Quarterfinal matches hosted by B2 Networks’ partners
Northern
Michigan and Hillsdale will be broadcast live on B2 Networks. The

the host site that will be determined after Wednesday’s Quarterfinals. The
