Comcast Names James J. Finnegan Vice President, Intellectual Property Strategy, Comcast

Comcast Corporation announced that James J. Finnegan has joined the company as
VicePresident, Intellectual Property Strategy.

In this
role, Finnegan is responsible for the continuing development andexecution of
Comcast’s Intellectual Property strategy. He will report toArthur Block, Senior
Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, ComcastCorporation, and Tony
Werner, Executive Vice President and Chief TechnologyOfficer for Comcast Cable.

brings senior intellectual property business experience to Comcast,”said
Block. “His unique combination of business, technical and IP
experiencefrom outside of the cable industry will help us to capitalize on the
stronginnovation that takes place at Comcast.”

Prior to
joining Comcast, Finnegan spent 17 years at AT&T and Lucent as aleading
contributor to their intellectual property business. Most recently heserved as
Vice President, Intellectual Property, for Qimonda AG in

Munich,

Germany.
He has also served in various consulting roles to majorcommunications and
electronics firms.

Finnegan
holds an M.B.A from

Lehigh

University, where he also
earned aMaster’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He
resides inthe

Philadelphia
area with his wife and two sons.
