Broadcast Pix Names Arco Groenenberg Director of Sales for North America

Broadcast Pix Inc. announced the promotion of video industry
veteran Arco Groenenberg to Director of Sales for

North
America. Groenenberg, based in

San Francisco,

CA,
recently joined Broadcast Pix as Senior Sales Manager for the Western region.
Since taking on his sales role, Groenenberg has maintained his reputation as a
proven sales performer.

“Arco Groenenberg came to us with an impressive background
and high-level qualifications. He has done a great job managing the Western
Region since he joined Broadcast Pix in June,” said Russell Whittaker, VP of
Sales. “His reputation speaks for itself, and we are confident he’ll
successfully lead our sales force to new heights.”

Groenenberg was previously responsible for selling the
comprehensive Avid product line as the Sales Manager for Broadcast – Post and
New Media at Avid Technology. He is experienced in nonlinear editing,
networked IT, graphics workflow, storage and play-to-air solutions.
Groenenberg’s career also includes a variety of senior sales positions at
Pinnacle. Spanning from 1994 until Avid acquired the company; Groenenberg was
Pinnacle’s Director of Sales for professional products, General Manager of
business products, and Sales Manager Key Accounts, VARS and systems integrators
for the

Midwest and Western regions.

“There is huge potential for growth at Broadcast Pix and I’m
excited to spur it on. The company’s strong reputation and its flagship Slate
digital production switcher line give it a unique edge and appeal in a variety
of markets,” said Groenenberg, who is now overseeing sales in all of the

United States,

Canada
and

Mexico.

our dealers to bring sales and support closer to our customers and strengthen
our marketing effort.”

Broadcast Pix promoted John-Paul Cardoso to Regional Sales Manager for the
Northeast, US on January 1st. John-Paul (JP) worked as a trainer and product
specialist for the company for two years. Prior to his tenure with Broadcast
Pix, he managed the sales presentation and training team at Media 100 and
taught classes in post-production at

Boston

University’s

School of

Communications.
JP will oversee sales in the Northeast territory from Broadcast Pix
headquarters in

Billerica,

Massachusetts.

Broadcast Pix has also hired two new regional sales
managers. This reorganization boosts Broadcast Pix domestic sales
management team to five members. The regional sales team is made up of
new hires Glen Paterson in Chicago and Gunter “Gunner” Woodson in Austin as
well as Dennis Breckenridge in Los Angeles, Allen Leon in Chapel Hill and
John-Paul Cardoso in the corporate office in Billerica, Massachusetts.
Groenenberg will manage Broadcast Pix’s team of regional sales managers.

Glen Paterson comes to Broadcast Pix from Matrox Electonics.

Paterson will oversee the Midwest territory from
Broadcast Pix’s newly opened Midwest Regional Sales office in

Chicago. Glen has over fifteen years of
sales, marketing and merchandising experience, with a wide range of knowledge
in multimedia production tools. He is an experienced account manager in
the central territory of the

United States
and

Canada.

Gunter “Gunner” Woodson previously worked at Echolab.
“Gunner” is based in Broadcast Pix’s new South Central regional sales office in

Austin,

Texas,
and in addition to the South central

US
territory will also manage

Mexico.
He has previously created a successful consulting firm specializing in sales
and marketing services. “Gunner” brings practiced sales proficiency and fluency
in Spanish to the new Broadcast Pix sales team.
