Anthony Cicione joins The Fight Network

Veteran sports programming executive Anthony Cicione has
joined The Fight Network as Senior Vice President Programming and Production. In
his new position, Mr. Cicione’s responsibilities will include overseeing all of
the day-to-day news and programming operations, including programming strategy
and acquisitions, identifying and hiring new talent, scheduling, and original
program development and production.
“Anthony is a key element of the team we have built to
expand our audience at home and around the world,” said Mr. Burger,
“with more of the news, live events and original programming that makes
The Fight Network the home for combat sports worldwide. He is totally in synch
with our multiplatform strategy, and will help us project our leadership into
the mobile, broadband and DVD markets.”
Mr. Cicione brings a wealth of experience to The Fight
Network. During a career spanning 18 years, he has been instrumental in
launching new and innovative sports programming, acquiring new properties and
growing audience viewership. He most recently served as VP of Programming and
Production at The Score, where he was a key member of the team for almost 10
years.
