YES Network promotes Brueckner, DiGraci

John Brueckner and Frank DiGraci have been promoted to vice
president of on-air promotions and coordinating producer/ producer of New
Jersey Nets telecasts, respectively, at the YES Network. Brueckner had been
creative director of on-air promotions and DiGraci’s previous title had been
producer of YES’ Nets telecasts.

“John has played an important role in shaping YES’ identity
since our 2002 launch and has spearheaded all of our award-winning on-air
promotional efforts,” said John Filippelli, president of production and
programming at the YES network. “Under Frank’s watch, the quality of our Nets
telecasts has improved significantly with each passing season as he’s deftly
incorporated new elements to enhance our productions.”

Brueckner, a two-time New York Emmy Award winner and 14-time
New York Emmy nominee, has also earned multiple Promax and Telly awards. He
joined YES as creative director of on-air promotions in December 2001 and now
oversees all aspects of the network’s on-air promotion, including topical
tune-in and promotion within live events, and contributes to various network
marketing initiatives.

Brueckner was at Comedy Central from 1995-2001, first as
senior writer/producer and later as director, on-air creative. He was
also writer/producer at the Cartoon Network from 1993-95. Earlier, he worked at
CNN and MTV. He received his B.A. from Wittenberg
University and earned a master’s
degree from Boston University’s
College of Communication.

Also an Emmy Award-winner, DiGraci is in his fifth season of
producing Nets basketball telecasts on YES. Additionally, he produces
Yankees pre- and post-game shows and programming specials for the YES Network.
Prior to coming to YES in 2004, DiGraci produced Nets game telecasts for the
Madison Square Garden (MSG) Network and Fox Sports New York from 1999-2002,
produced Mets game telecasts for WPIX-TV/WB11 in 2003, and Knicks game
telecasts for MSG Network 1995-1998.

DiGraci owns four New York Emmy Awards and has 22 Emmy
nominations to his name. He also earned one National Emmy Award for his
Track and Field coverage at the 1996 Olympics while working for NBC. DiGraci
received his bachelor’s degree from the
University of Maryland,
majoring in Radio, TV & Film.
