Chicago Cubs are all HD

The Chicago Cubs for the first time in team history will
broadcast all 162 games in high-definition in the
Chicago area.

WGN will televise the Cubs’ March 31 season opener vs.
Milwaukee while Comcast
SportsNet will televise its first game on April 2, the club’s second game of
the campaign.

Chicago Cubs games have been televised by WGN since 1948 and
by WCIU since 2000. This will be Comcast SportsNet’s fourth season televising
the Cubs.

Len Kasper and Bob Brenly return for their fourth season in
the Cubs’ broadcast booth. The duo was recognized following the 2006 season
with a local Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement for Individual Excellence
On Camera: Programming, Play-by-Play.
