Intelsat Announces Two Senior Level Appointments

Intelsat, Ltd., a provider of fixed satellite services, announced
two new senior level appointments. Intelsat Chief Executive Officer Dave
McGlade has appointed Kurt Riegelman to the position of Senior Vice President,
Global Sales, and Tobias (Toby) Nassif to the position of Vice President,
Satellite Operations & Engineering.

As Senior Vice President, Global Sales, Mr. Riegelman is responsible for all of
Intelsat’s sales activities around the world, which include providing video,
network and managed telecommunications solutions to businesses in approximately
200 countries and territories. As Intelsat’s former Senior Vice
President, Americas Sales, Mr. Riegelman successfully led his teams through the
challenges of integrating two global sales forces and delivered well in excess
of the company’s revenue targets in the first year of combined
operations. Mr. Riegelman brings more than 15 years experience in the
satellite industry to his new position.

In the role as Vice President, Satellite Operations & Engineering, Mr.
Nassif is responsible for all aspects of operations and engineering of
Intelsat’s global satellite fleet and for operating the satellites of
third-party customers. A former officer in the U.S. Navy and professor of
computer science, Mr. Nassif most recently served as the Senior Director of
Intelsat’s Long Beach Satellite Operations Center, which serves as the ‘hot
backup’ to Intelsat’s East Coast Satellite Control Center in Washington, D.C.
and is the primary control center for Intelsat’s third-party satellite
operations functions. Mr. Nassif has 13 years experience in the satellite
industry.
