FFV Expands National Sales and Distribution Channel

Fast Forward Video (FFV), a recognized innovator of digital
video recorder (DVR) technology for broadcast, industrial video, presentation,
and military applications, has forged new agreements with four national
manufacturer’s representatives. Effective immediately, Emerald Communications,
Heartland Media Group, Marketec, and Omnivue are exclusively representing the
full line of FFV’s DVRs to thousands of broadcasting system dealers and
resellers across the
United
States.

The newly expanded distribution channel reflects FFV’s
renewed focus on meeting the complex needs of today’s broadcasting
organizations as they make the transition to digital, file-based, and high
definition operations.

“These four highly respected organizations will give us
maximum leverage by putting their own highly trained technical representatives
in key areas of the country to present our products to reseller channels as
well as end users,” said Hal J. Reisiger, president and CEO of FFV.
“We’re excited about this opportunity to build a national presence with
resellers in every part of the
U.S.”

Representing FFV products to resellers in seven Southeastern
states, Emerald Communications is a manufacturer’s representative based in
Duluth, Ga.
“FFV has always enjoyed a good reputation in the industry and has
consistently delivered high-quality products. Now, there’s great interest in
the market and very few available products for high definition digital
recording and slow motion replay — so FFV is well-positioned to be successful
with our customers,” said Mark Robison, president of Emerald
Communications.

Heartland Media Group, a professional manufacturer’s
representative of video and multimedia products with offices in Chicago and
St.
Louis, will represent FFV products to dealers in 14
Midwestern states. “We have a renewed focus on leading-edge technologies
for broadcast and production, and FFV is right in line with our company’s
objectives,” said Frank Miley, principal, Heartland Media Group.
“Today’s broadcasters are looking for solutions that integrate readily
into their larger digital infrastructure and help them engineer the transition
from tape- to server-based production. FFV’s new line of products shows that
the company really understands these market dynamics.”

Based in
Burbank,
Calif., Marketec represents
professional video, audio, and multimedia products to the broadcast,
post-production, and A/V industries. Marketec will serve as FFV’s
representative to dealers in 13 Western states. “We’re excited to be a
part of FFV’s renewed vision to deliver the most innovative products available
to the post-production and broadcast markets,” said Penny Russell,
president of Marketec. “FFV has shown in the past that it knows how to
adapt to rapid changes in market conditions, and its new focus will give it
forward momentum in this dynamic market.”

Omnivue, a professional manufacturer’s representative of
broadcast and A/V equipment in the Northeast, will assist in the distribution
of FFV products in the New England states, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania,
Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington D.C. “FFV has
positioned itself well to take advantage of the growth in high-definition
broadcasting and customers’ demand for new and innovative technologies,”
said Harry Glass, president of Omnivue. “FFV’s product engineering is
superb, and they’re really providing the right products at the right time as
the industry gears up for the federally mandated transition from analog to
digital broadcasting in 2009.”
