Arena Media Networks lands four more MLB parks

Arena Media Networks (AMN) opened the 2008 Major-League-Baseball
season by announcing the successful expansion of its high-impact out-of-home
advertising to four new ballparks: Nationals Park (Washington D.C.),
Turner Field (Atlanta), Great American Ballpark (Cincinnati) and Tropicana
Field (Tampa/St. Petersburg). AMN now has a presence in 34 venues nationwide—including 21
of the 30 Major-League Baseball parks—and reaches over 90 million
passionate fans.
AMN has revolutionized
the way advertising is traditionally consumed in sports and entertainment
venues by strategically placing 50-inch HD flat-panel displays in high-traffic
areas where fans congregate, including concession lines, ticket windows,
escalator banks and souvenir shops. For each venue, AMN develops an
in-house television network that displays customized, visually appealing
and eye-catching content which compliment traditional methods of advertising
that have been used at ballparks for more than a century.
“Arena Media Networks
compliments the cutting-edge and modern approach we’ve taken at Nationals
Park,” said Tod Rosensweig, vice president of corporate partnerships
for the Washington Nationals. “Its digital displays are easy to read
and offer a unique and impactful messaging opportunity for our partners.
We also use it to promote our own upcoming special events and ticket
specials.”
Like the other AMN venues,
the stadiums in Washington D.C., Atlanta, Cincinnati and Tampa/St. Petersburg
will share ad revenue with AMN and will offer advertisers 25 to 35 screens
in high-traffic concourse areas. AMN’s unique technology offers a
customizable platform that is flexible depending on where, when, and
how long the advertiser wants its messages to be displayed.
“This is a win-win
situation for venues and teams,” said Art Williams, founder and CEO
of Arena Media Networks. “They reap the benefits of our ad revenue
while the advertiser gets its product in front of its targeted audience
in an environment where fans are more open to information.”
AMN’s current roster
of advertisers includes Toyota, Geico, Verizon Wireless, KIA, Heineken,
Metro PCS and Miller.
