‘Inside The NFL’ bound for Showtime

“Inside the NFL” will be returning next season as Showtime Networks and CBS Sports are teaming to bring the show to Showtime. The announcement was made today by, Steve Bornstein, Executive Vice President of NFL Media, and Sean McManus, President, CBS News and Sports and Executive Producer, THE NFL ON CBS.

“We welcome the NFL to the SHOWTIME family,” said Matthew Blank, Showtime chairman and CEO. “We’re thrilled to be joining the successful partnership of CBS Sports and the NFL in presenting the show to our subscribers. It’s a perfect fit with our original scripted series and sports programming.”

The show will be produced by CBS Sports and NFL Films and will premiere on Wednesday, September 10. It will air each Wednesday throughout the season through Wednesday, February 11, 2009.
