QuStream Launches IntegrityCS Series at SMD2008
QuStream Corporation will exhibit
its latest IntegrityCS series of high-quality signal processing, conversion and
distribution solutions and Cheetah V5-DVI-I transmission link at the 2008 Space
and Missile Defense Conference & Exhibition, Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama, August
QuStream’s IntegrityCS Series is a
new line of packaged video and audio processing solutions for the video
production and broadcast industries. Handling multiple signal formats and image
and signal manipulation requirements IntegrityCS provides application-specific
processing in stand-alone, 1RU solutions for virtually every signal processing
Every stand-alone CS processor
includes local control with simple menu-driven operation or, when using multiple
devices, all can be controlled from a single panel interconnected via Ethernet.
This allows locating multiple processing devices where they are needed, but
still under central control. There are ten single rack-unit solutions
including Color Corrector, Legalizer, Dobly-E Synchronizer with
Embedder/De-Embedder, Analog and AES Multiplexer/De-Multiplexer,pre-processing
amplifier, and two models of Analog to HD-SDI converters.
QuStream’s Cheetah V5
DVI-I transmission link enables long-distance delivery of DVI-I video or VGA
component video and stereo audio via a single optical fiber or coaxial cable.
It also allows DVI video to be routed via conventional routing switcher
technology over a secure optical fiber or coax signal path. Versions of the
Cheetah V5-DVI are available as stand-alone modules or in a convenient
four-module 1 RU rack-mount kit. The optical fiber model supports multimode and
single mode cable for ranges up to 1,200 ft (400 m) and six miles (10 km)
respectively. For coax, a looping output is on the transmission feed provides
DVI or VGA local monitoring and, by carrying the DVI over 1.485 Gbit/s HD-SDI,
allows signals to pass through video routers without additional processing.
