Vizrt Video Hub coming to IBC

Vizrt will introduce Viz Video Hub version 1.2 at the IBC convention,
Stand Number 2.B31 / 2.C39. Enhanced capabilities within version 1.2 give Vizrt’s
Video Hub plug-and-play media asset management (MAM) system feature an extended
support for Viz Link workflow and Escenic’s web publishing system, seamlessly
bridging IT-based graphics and video production to create a powerful,
streamlined workflow for broadcast and online publishing alike.

The Viz Link support enables video assets contained in the Viz Video Hub
to be quickly and easily retrieved and repurposed by Vizrt graphics solutions
such as Viz Content Pilot, Viz Multichannel and Viz Trio. Additionally, the
video assets of Viz Video Hub can be directly accessed from within the Viz
Escenic Content Studio software for managing and publishing media content to
web, mobile, and other new media distribution platforms. Viz Video Hub 1.2
helps media organizations maximize the value of their media assets by making
them accessible through the organization.

Version 1.2 also gives Viz Video Hub an integrated Viz Ingest Manager
module, which automates the recording of incoming feeds onto Viz Engine video servers.

“With these new capabilities, Viz Video Hub is fully realized as a
pivotal component anchoring the entire Vizrt workflow, spanning newsrooms,
editing stations, channel branding, control rooms, and every production task
from ingest to playout,” said Petter Ole Jakobsen, Chief Technology Officer of
Vizrt.

“Now that Viz Video Hub interfaces with Escenic and Vizrt’s graphics
systems, we can treat video and graphics as part of the same workflow, using
the same unique tools. Everything can be created and repurposed for different
media markets easily with one system and one workflow,” said Jakobsen.
“The benefits of Video Hub 1.2 are operational simplicity, reduced overhead,
and higher levels of creativity and productivity.”
