Anton/Bauer to Provide Power Solutions for NBC Olympic Coverage

Anton/Bauer will once again provide batteries, chargers, and lighting for NBC’s Olympic coverage at the 2010 Vancouver Games. Anton/Bauer, a brand of the Vitec Group, has supplied mobile power solutions and accessories for NBC’s Olympic coverage since 1996.

In addition to providing batteries, chargers, and lighting for the Vancouver Games (Feb. 12-28), Anton/Bauer will assist NBC engineering with on-site 24-hour support during and leading up to the Olympic broadcast.

This year Anton/Bauer will integrate advanced lithium-ion batteries into its arsenal of equipment for the NBC broadcast.  These lightweight batteries can be used on the camera, eliminating the need for bulky battery belts and reducing the cameraman’s load. Crews will also be using Anton/Bauer’s new ULHM-LED, an efficient LED light module designed for use with the Anton/Bauer UltraLIght.
