Joseph Electronics Names Ishan Bhawnani as Manager of New Business Development

Specialty broadcast distributor Joseph Electronics has added Ishan Bhawnani to its team as manager of new business development for Joseph Fiber Solutions, a division of Joseph Electronics.

With 30-plus years of experience in the technical design, marketing, and sales of RF/microwave/millimeter wave imaging and fiber optic connectors and passive components, Ishan brings to JFS his extensive expertise in connectivity solutions for all applications, particularly with the broadcast, medical, industrial, and military markets.

Ishan first developed fiber optic connectors in the late 1970s when the technology was in its infancy, and has through the years expanded on that experience, in particular by spearheading the introduction and establishment of the SMPTE 304M standard hybrid fiber optic solution currently accepted as the worldwide standard for HDTV camera connections, endorsed by SMPTE, ARIB (Japan) and the EBU.
