Omneon’s Stedman to Speak at DigitalVision2010

Geoff Stedman, Omneon’s senior VP of marketing and business and development, will present on “Why Media Storage Is Different: What to Consider When Purchasing a Storage System” during a webcast for DigitalVision2010. The one-day virtual event will showcase the technologies driving the digital content revolution.

Stedman’s webcast, scheduled for Jan. 20 at 5 p.m. EST, will discuss how storage for media differs from general-purpose IT storage, explore the unique demands that file-based workflows place on storage systems, and outline key media storage system requirements to consider when evaluating a system for purchase.

The company’s virtual booth will provide visitors with access to product information, case studies, and video from users of Omneon media storage and processing systems. Omneon representatives, including product and solutions specialists, will be available via the booth to provide visitors with information specific to their technical, operational, and business needs.
