MLB.com Pushes New App for Apple’s iPad

MLB.com’s At Bat application for Apple’s new iPad made quite an impression at the new gadget’s unveiling in San Francisco last week.

The software was designed specifically for the iPad and allows users watch live MLB games while simultaneously pulling up live box scores, stats, standings, in-game highlights, and out-of-town action on the 9.7-inch screen.

However, the New York Daily News reports that users will still have to buy a MLB.tv subscription to watch live video broadcasts and blackout rules will apply.
