Vancouver 2010: Absence of Snow Continues to Raise Concerns

Olympic organizers at Cypress Mountain continue to scramble in search of snow as athletes have begun practice runs at the resort in preparation for the Vancouver Games. The mountain will host snowboarding and freestyle skiing events in just weeks, but has struggled to maintain snow cover in the wake of an abnormally warm winter.

According to the New York Times, several training session were moved to Whistler (which has plenty of snow), but organizers maintain that they are not concerned and have no plans to move the events to another location.
