ProdutionHUB Overhauls Website, Adds New Features

ProductionHUB has revamped its Site with changes that include the introduction of a My Account section and a Recommendations section. ProductionHUB.com, an online industry resource and business networking community for those behind the camera, also plans to roll out additional features throughout the course of 2010.

“ProductionHUB has evolved over the years to rival social networking sites, like Facebook and MySpace,” says John Pokorny, President and Founder of ProductionHUB. “Unlike these social networking sites, you won’t find random quizzes or apps that share what music you are listening to – we are all about getting people work, getting equipment rented, and getting things found. A similar business networking site would be LinkedIn, except we cater specifically to the production industry. In 2010, we are adding all types of new features. Our features are strictly to help build business and connect professionals with those who require production services.”

The new My Account page will make it easier for users to set up, navigate, and manage their content on ProductionHUB.com. The new My Account page will include the addition of Recommendations, which will work similar to recommendations on other networking sites, such as LinkedIn. The new Recommendations profile option allows users to recommend people and companies they have worked with or leave a comment about their experiences with them.
