MaxPreps Partners with Agile Sports Technologies on “Hudl” Video Editing System

Online high school sports network MaxPreps.com has partnered with Agile Sports Technologies to become the exclusive sales agent for Hudl, Agile’s Internet-based sports video editing system.

Operating entirely on the Internet, the Hudl system gives coaches the ability to edit their team’s video and conduct scouting analysis from any Internet-connected computer. MaxPreps.com will market the Hudl system to the over 30,000 high school coaches across 12,523 high school athletic departments who currently load their team’s rosters, schedules, scores and news onto MaxPreps.com.

Hudl enables coaches to add voice notes, create text notes, and draw telestrations directly on top of video that they upload to the system and then share these notes with specific players. Hudl can be controlled with an Xbox 360 remote. As they watch film, athletes can tag individual plays to create their own highlight videos which can be shared with family, friends, and college recruiters online, rather than burning DVDs
