NAB Preview: Gepco To Further Enhance Hybrid Fiber Distribution Lineup

Gepco International, a General Cable company, will roll out several new fiber products for its hybrid fiber distribution systems line-up at this year’s NAB Show. Gepco will also introduce its Gepco Brand Enhanced Category 6 and 5e data communications cables, while featuring its V-CON multi-channel video connector system.

Engineered and manufactured to industry-leading standards, Gepco’s hybrid fiber distribution systems and cable assemblies, as well as comprehensive cable and connector options, provide complete fiber connectivity solutions for HD audio and video applications. The company has an extensive range of fiber distribution system products in two, including breakout racks, boxes, and panels, often featuring modular or expandable designs with multiple connection choices.

New to Gepco’s hybrid fiber distribution systems line are the following: HMD Hybrid Fiber Modular Distribution Racks; HMS Hybrid Fiber Fusion Splice Racks; HDR1 High-Density Distribution Racks; HSB Fusion Splice Boxes; HDB SMPTE Field and Studio Boxes; HMP8-Bxx SMPTE 304M Breakout Racks; and HMP8 Modular Hybrid Fiber and Triax Panels. Gepco’s distribution system products simplify and improve the cable installation process, while their modular and expandable designs allow for the increased flexibility.

Gepco also offers a wide array of fiber optic cable assemblies including the Neutrik OpticalCon, Amphenol TAC-4 and TAC-12, LEMO SMTPE 304M hybrid fiber camera cable assemblies, ST/SC/LC multi-mode or single-mode snakes, indoor permanent installation cable assemblies, and tactical and portable-use cable assemblies.

Available in both plenum and riser constructions, Gepco Category 6 and 5e cable may be installed in a variety of applications and environments.

Finally, Gepco will be re-launching its V-CON line, the standard in multi-channel video, which is comprised of connectors, distribution racks, breakout boxes, and cable assemblies.
