Gepco Focuses on Fiber at NAB

Gepco International has unveiled its full line of fiber products at NAB, emphasizing the company’s ability to customize any integration or installation project, especially sports stadiums and mobile broadcast and production units.

“We do custom everything,” says Lori Hazen, marketing and communications specialist for Gepco. “If you need custom assemblies or custom runs, for sports venues especially, or custom labeling for the runs, we can stage anything you need, the way you need it.”

Gepco can customize products ranging from assemblies, racks, panels, prewired patchbays, and patch cords to networking and power with custom lengths, custom-printed labels and heat shrink, single-ended termination for cable pulls, and durable and lightweight cable options.

Among the sports customers with projects wired by Gepco this year are NEP’s SS3D and NCP 11 trucks, All Mobile Video’s Epic 3D unit, AVI-SPL for Red Bulls Arena and Chester Stadium, Metrovision’s HD2 unit, and MLV Advanced Media’s network-operations center.

New to Gepco’s hybrid fiber-distribution system lineup are the HMD hybrid fiber modular distribution racks, HMS hybrid fiber fusion splice racks, HDR1 high-density distribution racks, HSB fusion splice boxes, HDB SMPTE field and studio boxes, HMP8-Bxx SMPTE 304M breakout racks, and HMP8 modular hybrid fiber and triax panels.

Gepco also offers an array of fiber-optic cable assemblies, including the Neutrik OpticalCon, Amphenol TAC-4 and TAC-12, LEMO SMTPE 304M hybrid fiber camera-cable assemblies, ST/SC/LC multimode or single-mode snakes, indoor permanent-installation cable assemblies, and tactical and portable-use cable assemblies.
