Last Chance to Purchase Calrec Analog Audio Consoles

As previously announced in June, Calrec Audio plans to discontinue the production of analog audio consoles effective Nov. 30 of this year. According to Calrec, the general adoption of digital technology in the broadcast market has significantly reduced the demand for equivalent analog products. This together with several other factors has had a significant impact on the availability of dedicated analog components.

The T-Series and Q2 consoles have not been available for a number of years, but S2, C2, and M3 consoles will now be discontinued as well.

Calrec is offering an opportunity to make a last time purchase of S2, C2, and M3 audio consoles and/or spare modules and card assemblies. This offer will be open until Nov. 30, after which time Calrec will no longer accept orders for these consoles, spare modules, or card assemblies.

Calrec will continue to provide component spares and repair services for all consoles for a minimum of 10 years from shipment date. Calrec reserves the right to offer alternative components, parts, or other hardware/software solutions to those originally supplied should original components or parts be unavailable. All parts, spares, loans, labor, and repairs provided outside console warranty will be chargeable including any shipping and import/export costs. As a result, Calrec advises all our distributors contact existing S2, C2 and M3 customers to advise them of this situation and confirm as soon as possible of any requirements for S2, C2 and M3 consoles and or modules/cards.
