The Mtn. Announces 2010 MWC Volleyball Telecasts

The Mtn. – MountainWest Sports Network will telecast 11 Mountain West Conference volleyball matches in 2010, beginning Friday, Sept. 17 when UAB visits TCU.  Five of the matches will be produced and aired in conjunction with the TCU Film/Media/Broadcasting Department.

The tandem of Anne Marie Anderson (play-by-play) and Amy Gant (color) returns for 2010 to call the games produced exclusively by The Mtn.

All games are live with the exception of the UAB at TCU match on Sept. 17, which will be aired via same day tape delay.

Two volleyball double-headers appear on The. Mtn. schedule for the first time this fall, with games on Thursday, Oct. 21 and Thursday, Nov. 11.  The first game each day will be produced at TCU (5:30 p.m. MT start time) with the second game produced by The Mtn. following at 7:30 p.m. MT.

The Mtn. will also air replays of five BYU-TV games: Utah State at BYU from Sept. 14; Colorado State at BYU from Sept. 24; UNLV at BYU from Oct. 16; San Diego State at BYU from Nov. 6 and TCU at BYU from Nov. 18.  Re-air dates and times of these games will be announced in the near future.
