Eurovision Looks Back on a Busy NHL Season

With the 2009-10 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs now in the rear-view mirror, Eurovision can now look back fondly on a very busy year of hockey.

Last season, Eurovision once again originated delivery of over 40 hours’ worth of HD and SD Stanley Cup Finals programming to 140-plus countries around the world. Eurovision delivered the domestic and international feed of NHL Network pre- and post-game shows, as well as global World Feed distribution for each game and domestic distribution of all post-game press conferences.

Looking ahead to October, Eurovision will begin its fifth season as the NHL’s transmission services partner. Starting with the NHL’s Premier Games in Europe featuring matches in Helsinki, Stockholm, and Prague, Eurovision will be responsible for all transmission services related to the Games – from on-site transmission origination through signal delivery in multiple formats around the globe.
