Jon Rees Pegged To Oversee Encompass Digital Media’s L.A. Operations

Encompass Digital Media has appointed Jon Rees as Executive Vice President, General Manager Encompass Los Angeles. Rees will be based in Los Angeles where he will oversee all of the Encompass West Coast operations including network operations, broadcast engineering, digital media services, and production services.

“Jon’s technical expertise enhances our goal of delivering innovative broadcast solutions to our clients,” says Encompass’ CEO Simon Bax. “He brings valuable experience and strong leadership skills which contribute to our overall company strategy.”

Rees has 30 years of experience in multi-channel network origination, television production and the cable channel industry. Prior to Encompass, he was VP of Operations for MountainWest Sports Network (The Mtn.). Before joining The Mtn., Rees was Senior Director of Operations for the Comcast Media Center.
