3D Video Editing Technology for Android

As we know, muvee DSG is the pioneer and leader in video editing for mobile devices since it previously provided video editing for Symbian from Nokia.

Not long ago, muvee also launched CODEN, Compressed Domain Editing Engine which is a technology stack that avoids the need to decompress video in order to make standard edits. To complete this, muvee enhances several things to force this works for 3D HD videos. It means that the amount of the video is twice bigger than the previous one. With the application from muvee, the HD 720p video files in 3D can be edited it is in a compressed state.

Terence Swee, CEO of muvee explained that customers who shot and shared video on their cell phones expected immediate satisfaction. Nevertheless, previously editing video had been an expensive activity, since it had large resolution and complex use of compression. This problem became twice bigger with the 3D. By using smart technologies as CODEN, users would be able to speedily edit their 3D videos on device without having to transfer them into a PC.

Novel software techniques are used in the muvee’s technology to achieve all of four basic video editing functions in less than the usual time. It also requires much less memory space on the phone. Devices with dual-lens cameras for 3D videos and image capture now are able to operate this muvee’s 3D editing tool.
