BURST Co-Sponsors Tektronix VideoInsight Seminar in Dallas

Join solutions provider/systems integrator BURST and Tektronix, a manufacturer of broadcast video test, monitoring, and analysis solutions, for a free VideoInsight Seminar and learn about today’s test and measurement challenges.  The seminar will be presented at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, TX, on Sept. 2 from 9:30AM – 3:30PM; a tour of the video production control rooms and technical areas at the stadium is offered at the conclusion of the seminar.

The free seminar presents a hands-on opportunity for attendees to learn new techniques for addressing postproduction and broadcast challenges.  Demonstration and presentation topics will help attendees:

  • Gain knowledge on how to use Waveform Monitors together with Apple’s Color Correction software to achieve the best artistic rendering for your content.
  • Get the latest update on ATSC A/85 Recommendation for Controlling Audio Loudness and learn how to control audio levels between program and commercial transitions.
  • Learn about the importance of the Ancillary Data, and new tools to verify critical signal elements including payload ID, AFD, and Closed Captioning.

“As digital video evolves, a new class of test and measurement tools to accommodate new, faster and often more complex technologies are required,” said Eben Jenkins, general manager, video test at Tektronix. “We are committed to helping broadcast video professionals understand the challenges they face and the new techniques available to meet those challenges. The VideoInsight Seminar Series provides an easy and convenient way to have hands-on access to the latest video test and measurement technologies and techniques.”
