NAC Image Technology Expands Sports Unit, Adds Andy Hayford as International Sales Manager

NAC Image Technology announced the expansion of its Sports Broadcast Business Unit with the appointment of Andy Hayford as International Sales Manager for NAC Hi-Motion Products. His role will focus on the promotion and sale of NAC’s Ultra Slow Motion Sports Broadcast camera systems in Europe, the Americas, Australia, and other geographic territories.

With close to 30 years in the broadcast market, Andy Hayford has spent the last six years working with NAC’s business partner, ARRI Media developing their Sports Television business.  A youthful industry veteran, Andy has been a huge influence in building ARRI Media’s High Speed department where he has been a primary factor in establishing NAC’s Hi-Motion Camera System as the market leading “ultra slow motion camera system”.  He has worked closely with SKY Sports, HBS, OBS at the Beijing and Vancouver Olympics, Sunset & Vine and North One Television in the UK.

Over the years Andy has fine tuned his broadcast technical knowledge and understanding and through his promotional and operational efforts, has been an integral part of NAC Hi-Motion Cameras receiving an EMMY Technology and Engineering Award in 2010 and Golden Podium Awards at Sportel in 2008 and 2009.

Andy is looking forward to his new role with NAC, “While I am sad to be leaving a superb team of colleagues at ARRI; this is a great opportunity to build on my work with NAC’s Hi-Motion at ARRI Media since early 2006 and with NAC take the second generation camera, the Hi-Motion II to what is now a bigger market.”

NAC is dedicated to the prospect of expanding its presence in the Television and Entertainment market, a presence which began well over 50 years ago with the production of motion picture equipment.  The addition of Andy Hayford as International Sales Manager for Hi-Motion products will allow NAC to give more focus to each of its camera market segments.  Since 1958 NAC has pioneered new uses of image technology in a number of industries and applications.
