The Mtn. Announces Men’s Basketball Broadcast Schedule

The Mtn. – MountainWest Sports Network will air 57 live men’s basketball games (53 regular season plus the men’s quarterfinals from the 2012 Conoco Mountain West Basketball Championships) as part of its 2011-12 MW television package.

The men’s lineup features traditional rivalries, including New Mexico State at New Mexico, Colorado State at Air Force and home-and-home match-ups between Colorado State and Wyoming.  Plus, Front Range basketball fans will also enjoy Colorado visiting Air Force and Colorado State, and Denver at Colorado State. The slate gives consideration to maximizing the exposure of intra-conference match-ups, with 39 of the 53 regular season games featuring Mountain West competition.

The Mtn. surrounds its live game telecasts with comprehensive pre, post, and halftime studio shows dedicated to the coverage of MWC basketball.  Ram Trucks Pre-Game Live will lead off most telecasts with in-depth features and previews of the day’s upcoming action, and will also air before subsequent games during the day (time permitting).  Ram Trucks Halftime Live airs every game, providing highlights and score updates from around the Conference and NCAA while recapping the game in progress.  Ram Trucks Post Game Live revisits the scores and highlights from the prior game as well as throughout college basketball and follows most live game telecasts.

Men’s quarterfinal action from the 2012 Mountain West Basketball Championships in March will be telecast live by The Mtn. 2012 MW men’s tournament coverage airs Thursday, March 8 from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev. and will be available in HD.
