Comcast SportsNet Covers the Chicago Blackhawks All Season Long

Comcast SportsNet opens the 2011-12 Chicago Blackhawks regular season with back-to-back nights of live coverage, featuring the team’s season opener on Friday, Oct. 7, and home opener on Saturday, Oct. 8.  The Blackhawks will faceoff against the Dallas Stars on both nights. The network will showcase 50 live regular season games (25 home, 25 away), including live pregame and postgame shows, and comprehensive 24/7 online Blackhawks coverage on CSNChicago.com.

Prior to the 7:30 p.m. CT face-offs on Oct. 7 and 8, Comcast SportsNet’s Opening Week Blackhawks coverage gets underway at 6:30 PM with SportsNet Central presented by AT&T U-Verse featuring live pregame coverage, interviews, and on-site talent correspondence.

At 7:00 p.m. both nights, Chevy Blackhawks Pre-Game Live breaks down the evening’s match-up, along with numerous interviews with players and coaches.  Jose Cuervo Blackhawks Post Game Live immediately follows the game, featuring Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville’s post-game press conference (also streaming live on CSNChicago.com), along with live locker room player interviews and complete post-game analysis.

Comcast SportsNet’s website, CSNChicago.com, delivers comprehensive 24/7 Blackhawks coverage all season long, including live stream of Joel Quenneville’s post-game press conferences and video highlights from every Blackhawks game including “in-game” highlights after each period for all games that air on Comcast SportsNet.
