espnW will bring together some of the most talented female athletes and experts for the second annual espnW: Women + Sports Summit in Tucson, AZ, Sept. 26-28. Monday, Sept. 26, 9 p.m.  – “The Multi-Dimensional Nature of a World-Class Athlete” featuring Michelle Kwan, Lisa Leslie, Jessica Mendoza, and Summer Sanders. Hosted by Sage Steele.

Tuesday, Sept. 27, 11:45 a.m. – “The Landscape of Women in Sports: Facts, Figures & Observations” presented by Dr. Richard Lapchick and Nancy Hogshead-Makar.

Tuesday, Sept. 27, 3:15 p.m. – George Bodenheimer will welcome participants followed by Robin Roberts from the Good Morning America studios in New York.  These brief remarks precede the next panel “Reflection on the Impact and Evolution of Women’s Sports: Billie Jean King” interviewed by Julie Foudy.

Tuesday, Sept. 27, 10 p.m. – ESPN’s John Skipper will introduce the keynote event, “Progressing Women’s Sports: Reflections from a Rookie” featuring Laurel Richie, president of WNBA. This keynote will be followed by a conversation with ESPN WNBA analyst Carolyn Peck.

Wednesday, Sept. 28, 3:45 p.m. – Closing Panel featuring USWNT Soccer World Cup finalists: Alex Morgan, Abby Wambach, Lauren Cheney with Julie Foudy and Monica Gonzalez.
