CSN Philly Scores with Comprehensive Flyers Coverage

Comcast SportsNet, together with The Comcast Network, usher in the most comprehensive Flyers coverage with 70 high definition game broadcasts, pre and postgame shows, the return of the highly acclaimed The Orange Line weekly magazine show, and extensive online coverage at CSNPhilly.com.

Jim Jackson, Steve Coates, Keith Jones, and Bill Clement return to bring viewers all the action from the puck drop to the final whistle. The latest in X-Mo camera technology will provide state of the art frame-rate adjusted HD slo-motion replays.

In addition several select home telecasts will feature the new “Live Wire” feature with players wearing a microphone during the game to bring the viewer unprecedented access.

Before and after every Flyers game on Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network, John Boruk will tap into Comcast SportsNet’s roster of hockey experts, including former Flyers Rick Tocchet and Bill Clement, Flyers broadcaster Steve Coates, hockey analyst Al Morganti and Comcast SportsNet’s Flyers beat reporter Lisa Hillary to provide viewers with insightful analysis and lively debate.  Fans will also hear from key players and coach Peter Laviolette’s press conference.

Flyers beat reporter Lisa Hillary hosts The Orange Line every Monday during hockey season. Each week, The Orange Line gives an all access look inside the lockerroom, and follows the Flyers off the ice, with features you can’t see anywhere else. The hosts and players will engage viewers through social media including Twitter and Facebook.  The Orange Line will air on Comcast SportsNet every Monday at 7 p.m., beginning Oct. 10.

On Wednesday, Oct. 12, Comcast SportsNet will have coverage of the Flyers home opener beginning at 5 p.m.with Daily News Live followed by SportsNite at 6 p.m. and The Orange Line at 6:30 p.m. Flyers Pregame Live airs at 7 p.m. live from the CURE Insurance Club in the Wells Fargo Center. The live game broadcast, pitting the Flyers against the Vancouver Canucks, will hit the air at 7:30 p.m. with Flyers Postgame Live airing immediately after the game.

Comcast SportsNet’s Flyers Insider Tim Panaccio (@tpanotchCSN) will have daily coverage of the Flyers, including breaking news, extensive vide,o and in-depth features.
