I-MOVIX Opens Maintenance Center in China, Hits South Africa

Super slow-motion system maker I-MOVIX has opened the INSTEC – I-MOVIX Beijing Maintenance Center, located at INSTEC’s headquarters in Beijing. A dedicated team of fully trained high-speed camera specialists will be in China working with major Chinese broadcasters like CCTV and BTV. They will also support the sales of SprintCam systems.

After a full technical training organized by I-MOVIX on the SprintCam technology, the INSTEC – I-MOVIX maintenance center was opened on the last week of September, 2011.

The move continues an international expansion by I-MOVIX in 2011. Earlier in the year the company’s SprintCam Vvs HD made its debut in South Africa. The multiple cameras deal was closed with the support of Telequip, the leading broadcasting equipment supplier in South Africa.

Gert Zaayman, Telequip Manager says he was impressed by the ability of I-MOVIX to keep on improving their cameras and providing a technology leading South African broadcasters are very pleased with. “I have a very good relationship with the Belgian team and I am sure this fruitful collaboration will confirm the usage of the brand new ultra slowmotion technology in Africa,” he adds.

The SprintCam Vvs HD was first used for a major international cricket game between South Africa and Zimbabwe. The event was produced by SuperSport, South Africa leading broadcaster.
